OK, so I’ve never qualified for mom of the year award, but this year, it’s different. Maybe.
We registered the boys for the first time ever, in hockey. Our oldest is going on 10, the youngest just started Grade 1, so he’s only five years behind or so.

Hazlet is a small community of just over 70 people, but it’s a village with a big dream, founded in large part by a proactive school principal. Recently, the community realized its pioneering international student program was nixed by the school division. And if keeping a rural community alive was at the heart of the program, then finances are most certainly the guts of the problem.
